A Process

            As with many traditional martial arts systems, Tong Il Lo is organized into a curriculum which spans over several levels in what is known as a ranking system. Each different rank is designated by an individual belt color. As a student learns more curriculum, they are evaluated over time in order to advance to each subsequent belt level. In addition, each belt level stresses a different trait or characteristic, which is also reflected by the actual color of the belt.
